Stripe Payment Form Not Secure WITH SSL

    Hey Everyone,

I have been using Machform for a while now. I am on Version 4.4. I noticed today that when my forms are on my sites they are fine (meaning HTTPS is green and all parts of the page are secure), but once I add the Stripe payment form the page its still HTTPS but shows a warning that the an element on the page is not secure. I tested a number of other page elements, but it was only happening once the payment gateway was added. Can anyone add some light to why this is and how to fix it?

    PS: my site has SSL.

    Regards,

    LJ

It sounds like you might have images on your site simply using <img src="http://...."> , that is one common problem with the "mix of secure and unsecure items" on a web page. That could be the "unsecured element" as mentioned in the error but it won't affect the secuity of the payment processing.

It could be any other hyperlinks to normal http:// links rather than https:// links (other than the Stripe Gateway).

    Hey AMurray,

I shall look into this now. But I did not think it was this as I was testing the site with a machform and not a stripe gateway(within machfrom) and then also a machform and having also a stripe gateway(within machfrom). without the gateway it was fine, as soon as I added the gateway it shows issue. As the form and the gateway are also hosted on the same page when i have both form and gateway the error is not there when the form is displayed, but as soon as the form submits and the gateway appears the issue appears. Are there any coding (links like http vs https) files within the stripe gateway itself that could be creating this issue...?

As I am hosting on weebly, my back end machform is hosted in a separate site but this is also SSL and then machform is dropped into my site via weebly on the pages i need it. this weebly page is also SSL.

    Was not an issue prior...

I shall keep trying things and hope support get back to me soon.
