-- admin update --
As of version 2, MachForm fully support SSL with no additional patch needed.

Hello
When we try to SSL we have problems with the forms because the ?id= in the embed code. Is there a work around for this? We love the system but are having major problems securing everything up with your system. Please send us any tips or possible help.
Thank you

Hmm..I'm not sure why would you consider the '?id=' to be a problem.
Do you have any security issue with the id parameter?MachForm Founder

When we go to create the cert it does not accept it beyond 3 character extension like .php
Is there a mod_rewrite system to remove the ? or any other suggestions

I'm sorry if I don't understand this correctly, but what do you mean by it doesn't accept beyond 3 character extension?
Where did you create the SSL certificate?
As far as I know of, creating SSL certificate only requires domain name, not the whole URL.If you would like to make the info private, you might want to contact me directly at yuniar [at] appnitro.com

WOW! That was incredibly fast---THANK YOU!!!
...and now I ask an ignorant question or two because I don't want to mess this up. 1) do the files in the patch REPLACE the files in the existing directory on my server? OR--do I put them in a NEW directory called /machform-ssl?
I ask because while some forms I need MUST run under ssl, others are simple contact forms and they can run within the regular domain; and 2) I LOVE THIS SOFTWARE (so simply, so clean, so perfect for my needs!!) and I just don't want to make a mess of things.
...when you have time I will appreciate the guidance--thank you so much!

Once the patch is applied, will the forms continue working under non-SSL? Or does it change things so that the forms will only work under SSL?
Thanks,

It will work for both SSL and non-SSL.
