Variable pricing for checkboxes? or pass checkbox data to paypal?

    Is there a way to leverage variable user input prices in a checkbox format? ie something like this:

    Checkbox:
    Option #1: $4.00 (selected with user input value as 4 dollars)
    Option #2: $1.00 (selected with user input value as 1 dollar)
    Option #3: (blank) (not selected and no user input value)

    If this is not available then is there a way to pass checkbox selected data to paypal to help identify descriptions for payments? In my business we have service related payments done on-line so fixed pricing doesn't work for us.
