User gets "invalid password" rather than review of form

Hi, using new version2, and got a call from client who gets "invalid password click to reenter your password" instead of a review of the form upon hitting "continue". Upon clicking the form is cleared, ahd he must start all over again. the form worked fine from my computers tho. he's using IE, but didnt have trouble viewing anything. and his password is correct.

I can't seem to reproduce this error. I'm using IE7 and Firefox 2.
Try to turn off "form review" and password protection.

I can't reproduce the error either. Client is using IE 6.0.26. I turned off the preview and the password, and client tried again, but he is getting "your session has expired" after hitting continue. This was the message that came in lieu of "invalid password" yesterday after I had turned the password off.

Error still cleared the form, and returned him back to the form.

ok, this seems to be getting clear now.

Based on the error message "your session has expired", it seems your client browser doesn't accept cookies from your site.

Cookies is needed to track sessions.
Their browser security setting might be too restrictive. You will need to ask them to allow cookies from your site. Otherwise, they won't be able to use the "review" feature.

When you turned off the preview, they should be able to submit it directly. The "continue" button shouldn't be appeared. Instead, it should be "submit" button.

If they still see the continue button, then it must be their browser cache.

Make sure to ask them to delete the browser cache.

FYI...this happens even if it is just set to 'submit' and not 'review'. Only way for me to get my form to work is to have user turn cookies on or turn password off. We have one long (30min) form that has done this to a few users. Not good...

I set up a very simple 'test system' form that they can try first and make sure it will work before they dive into the big form. If it does not work we help them get things set up right.

ctyankee -- if you have "form review" turned off, there shouldn't be any session problem, since MachForm is not using session on any other place.

If you do experience this problem, can you let me know the URL to your form please? I'll test it. You can send it via email: customer.service [at] appnitro.com
