Upload a File doesn't work

Hello, I am using MachForm and I made a form. I put the "upload a file" in there.

Once I test out the form, every field works and the results come to my email, BUT the upload a file doesn't work. I mean I uploaded the file while completeing the rest of the form, then I submitted, then results come to my email. But the upload a file field is totally not there.

Am I missing something? To make the file upload work, do I have to configure anything additionally? Plz help

    thanks

Also I forgot to ask, where do I set the Max File size (upload file size limit) and the acceptable file types?

I don't work here, but make sure your /data directory is set to 777, as if I'm not mistaken, that's where the files get uploaded to.

Also, you can have your server tech set the Max File Size limit, or I think there's an htaccess override for this.

    Hi Ruslan,

Is your PHP running under Safe Mode?
If so, you will need to turn it off.

Contact your host tech support or modify your php.ini to do this. The max file size can be set from php.ini as well, while the file type can be set from your config.php file.

Hey never mind I figured it out. I just set the /data directory permissions to 777. And it works. However does anyone know how to make MULTIPLE file uploads? Like a button, upload MORE files?

yuniar can you describe in more detail how to edit the php.ini file? I know where it's located at but I can't see what to modify.

I FOLLOWED SOME INFO IN THE FORUM AND EDITED THE CONFIG.PHP FILE TO ALLOW .GIF AND jpg
Now when I upload a jpg of gif file and check my email, the data is in the email along with the name of the jpg file, but no jpg is attached to the email.

I do not feel this function works in my current version of Machform

Here is the URL where the machform is located:

    http://consignmentshoppe.net/contents/en-us/d1.html

Fill out the form and upload a jpg or gif and you will see that the photo does not attach to your email

Do I need to upgrade to another version?

Will this erase all of my forms?

I HAVE FIXED THE PROBLEM OF UPLOADING A PHOTO TO MY EMAIL PROGRAM AND OPENING IT AS AN ATTACHMENT.

    IT WORKS FINE NOW.
