System Email From Name

    Hello,
    I changed my system email from name to my company. When I get emails from a form submission it still holds the name as MachForm. Does it take a while for that setting to save and kick in? Let me know.

    Hello Jim,

    Make sure you change the "From name" on form mail settings (not on setting page).
    Select your form and go to "emails" tab, in "send the notification to you", you can expand the option and change "From name" in there.

    Shouldn't the default value set in the "System Settings" panel be the actual default? I'm running up against this now, and it looks like I'll need to modify the core files to get it to work in our setup.

    @vu-webcomm: I believe the default value set in the "System Settings" panel is the "From:" address that is used for "system" emails, such as the one you would receive if you reset your password from within Machform. I am not sure what problem you are trying to solve. If you could provide more detail, perhaps someone could provide a useful suggestion.
