SSL & Stripe

    Hi,

    If I use the stripe payment solution do I need to have an SSL certificate?

    Technically speaking, MachForm doesn't need SSL certificate when you are using Stripe as the merchant.
    This is possible because the credit card data is never being sent to your server. It's being sent directly by your customers to Stripe's server, using SSL already.

    However, I don't think most users would understand this and simply think your form is insecure.
    So, yes, you must have an SSL certificate for that reason.
