server password required when testing form in IE

    Hi,

    I had no problems creating this form and imbedding the code into the site I am working on. However, when I go to test in IE, I get the following pop with a sign on request:

    The server bridalnbeyond.com at bridalnbeyond.com requires a username and password.

    Warning: This server is requesting that your username and password be sent in an insecure manner (basic authentication without a secure connection).

    I double checked the form - it is not password protected. I am able to hit cancel and then fill out the form, however, this would not be acceptable for my clients.

    Hi,

    That's not coming from MachForm. MachForm doesn't prompt for username + password.
    Most likely you have .htaccess file which set your site to prompt for password.

    Try to search into your document root folder and delete the file.
    Or contact your hosting tech support as this is server issue.
