Reset Form?

Is there a way to have a reset form button ?
I am using pricing which will only clear in testing if I empty my cookies or goto the selection and change the dropdown to blank.
I feel it would be better to have a clear form or even clear page button which should unload the values as well.
The user can at the moment select the empty field from the drop downs i am using to unload them but I fear some users won't understand that and will abandon the form.
Also I am using page logic which spans 7 small pages and for them to go back and unload them would seem confusing to me.The idea I have is if they mess the form up they can click reset form ( or clear ) which will then take them back to page 1 to start over.
Better still if it could be set to clear the actual page they are on would save them time as wellHope someone can help

If you are using one page form ecd, I got this to work if you haven't been to the review page and go back to edit your form.
If you go back all values will then ( I Assume ) be stored in a cookie and the reset won't work.
I added this to my form properties in the description box
<input type="reset">
which works if you do not use the review page.
To get it to work properly you would need to add something that removes the cookie as well.
That I don't know how to do.
Maybe someone else could help as this feature would be usefulPosted 11 years ago #
