Remove shadows from field borders in v. 4.3

In going from Machform v. 4.1 to 4.2, "shadows" were added around the borders of all text entry fields and it does not seem possible to remove these shadows in the Theme Editor without using Advanced CSS. According to the message thread below, this was due to a bug and should have been fixed in v. 4.3, but I just upgraded to Machform 4.3 and I still don't see any way to remove these shadows.

I have cleared my browser cache. I am using Chrome. Has anyone else who has upgraded to version 4.3 been able to remove the shadows?
If you are not sure what I am talking about, the message thread below gives more details:

To clarify, the bug was referring to the form border & shadow. The theme editor wasn't able to remove them and we've fixed it within v4.3
However, the field shadows/border is not a bug. We added this since v4.2 and adjusted several other parts.
I'm afraid this is not a controllable option within the theme editor. You'll need to use CSS code to overwrite it.Or an easier option, copy the view.css file from v4.1 and put the file into your main machform folder and under each form folder.
This way, all your existing forms will maintain the old styling and all your future forms will use the same styling as well.MachForm Founder

That's fine as far as I am concerned, but it seems that the Machform forum user known as HeuF misunderstood what you told him or her and will be very disappointed.
I also don't think your users in general appreciate the Appnitro development team making unannounced changes to the appearance of the form interface that cannot be reversed or adjusted through the graphical user interface (GUI). I realized that this isn't a hard thing to change by editing CSS or replacing files on the Machform server, but many of your users purchase and use Machform because of the GUI and would prefer not to edit any code or mess about with files. I do know and am even comfortable doing both of these things and I personally don't appreciate you making this change.

Yes I am not happy either about the change to the look of the forms... we should be able to choose how our forms look, to be told how they should look !
