Processing Rules for Each Form on Submit?

    Hello,
    Before I purchase this form-making software I was wondering if it would be possible to have a feature where on submit of each form there's a list of rules that it goes through before it actually submits.
    What I mean to say is, say there's a dropdown / select option that says Other, would this list of rules make it so that if that's selected then a new field appears (ajax) to be filled in?
    A sort of validation process.
