   Hi: I am looking for a turn key, easy solution to make a petition website, similar to http://www.prostatecancerpetition.org I am not a web designer, nor do I know php or css. I would like to export the results to an Excel file. Is MachForm the solution for me?

   Also, is it possible for the form's public webpage to display a running total of those who filled (signed) the petition, much like the running total at the bottom of prostatecancerpetition.org ?

   Hi Darryl,

   I think you should go with Machform. It's the best form application out there right now that I have found. Actually nothing even comes close to Machform. You can export to an excel file easily plus all your form submissions are stored and can all be viewed by going to your admin backend.

   And the extra bonus is if you run into a problem or don't know how to do something then you just post here and people get back to you pretty quickly with a solution.

   As for a counter, doing a search on the forum I found this which you can check into:

   Always remember to make a backup copy of your files before modifying them so you can easily revert back in case something doesn't work!

   Hi Darryl, Yes MachForm can collect the petitions and then export the result into the excel file.

   Regarding the total counter, you can apply the modification as shown through the link posted by Mark above.
