number range validation problem

I have specified a range for a number formfield from 0 to 30.
In this field people can enter numbers with decimals.
When someone enters 30.4 as value...this is accepted while the maximum should be 30.0.

Do you know how I can solve this?

Thank you for reporting this! This is a bug and we've replied to your support ticket along with the bugfix.
The fix will be included as part of the next update (v3.3)

    Dear Yuniar,

Thanks for this bugfix. This seems to work.
However I have a related problem: When editing the form..I want to set the number range to a maximum of 9.9. But when I do this the range is limited to 9.
So I enter in the "max" field the value 9.9 but after saving the form the range is set to max of 9.

Hope you can help me again!

    Best regards,
    Paul.

You are right, it should be able to accept decimal numbers as the range values. Unfortunately, this one won't be quite simple to fix as previously. The backend database need to be modified and tested thoroughly to ensure it won't affect any other functionalities.

We're putting this into our bug report list.

    Dear Yuniar,

Is this bug still on the to-do list? I really need number validation with decimal numbers!
If yes, can you estimate when this will be available?

This is still on our bug report list. I'm afraid I can't tell exactly regarding the availability. Sorry.
