Not able to disable the email notification

Hi,
I created a form and I uncheck the "Send Notification Emails to My Inbox" and click on "Save Settings" button. I go back in the same interface, the "Send Notification Emails to My Inbox" is still checked. A bug ?
Thanks for your help.

I tested this as you describe, and found:
1) If you uncheck the "Send Notifications to my Inbox" AND the "My Email Address" field is blank, then you click Save, the check box will return to "checked" the next time you open that option screen, but
2) If the "My Email address" has an valid email address typed in (valid or otherwise) then you uncheck "Sent notifications...." it should hold that setting. It is apparently needing the email address there, regardless if you uncheck the send notifications. A little strange in that sense, but I don't know that its a bug or by design.
Yuniar could confirm this....

Wow !
For me, it's a bug. Totally outside the logic.
But thanks for your reply. I can uncheck the option right now.

This is actually by design and not a bug. AMurray analyzed the behaviour correctly and it's expected to work that way.
Why is that, you might ask?We actually made it that way to make things faster for you.
Let say you created a new form and saved it. The next thing you would like to do (most likely, or I can say 90%) is configure the form to send the result to your email. So you clicked the "Emails" menu. When you opened the page, the "Send Notification to my Inbox" will automatically being checked and you can directly enter your email.
This way, we saves you time to check the "Send Notification to my Inbox" and made it totally obvious for new users. Just click the emails menu and enter your address. Pretty simple right? If you need to disable the notification later, simply uncheck the "Send Notification to my Inbox" and don't remove the email address. That would disable it. Why bother removing the email address to disable the notification if you simply need to uncheck it, right?
So, overall, the design is made to make things faster for you, to either enable the notification or disable it.
I hope I'm not confusing anyone.MachForm Founder
