non required field gets error

I am getting an error message when submitting a form that has a website field (http://).
The field is not mandatory, but the field validator seems to flag it because it is prefilled with "http://" and it thinks it is a wrong URL.ERROR: This field is not in the correct website address format.

Could you let me know your machform version and what url you put on website field exactly ?
If currently your machform running on version 4.0, we recommend you to update the version to version 4.1, which has an update for website field validation logic.

I've just checked your form and the website field seems to be mandatory. Have you changed it?
Anyway, try to download v4.1 package again from our member area and then update your "includes/common-validator.php" file with the one from the new package.MachForm Founder

I am using version 4.1 and am getting this error too.
I do NOT have the website field as "required" so people should be able to miss it out.
I have checked the includes/common-validator.php file as suggested. It is the same as the one in the zip file I downloaded today which is the latest version.
Do I have to remove this field for now until there is a fix?
