Sorry, the problem is smtp does not work with my previous port 465. I do not know why before it works like a charm but it refuses to work in v4.

Hi yuniar,
Where is the guide for web hook?
I would like to use it with json, rest api, ...What should I do in case information need to be processed (e.g. mixing some field with time stamp and md5) before being used as a value in web hook.
Thank you.

@bernie: It is better to post any requests for support to the Machform 4 forum as a new message. For the most timely response, please use the contact form:
http://www.appnitro.com/contact
The Appnitro staff does monitor these forums, but they don't always catch every request for help posted here, Yuniar has said he is preparing documentation for all of the new version 4 features; hopefully it will be ready soon. When it is, you will see an announcement here.

@bernie,
I got the same error during beta testing and reported it. They should be working on it. I'm still having issues with it but I think you might be able to work around it - depending on your settings.
For me - I was using "Use Authentication" and "Use TLS/SSL" on the settings page for email. This is the secure method. Switch "Use TLS/SSL" to "NO" and be sure to make changes to the mail server and port as well.
As I said, this worked for me - but it is UN-Secure.
Hope this helps

@Bernie (and anyone else having this problem):
Changed the port to 587 instead of 465 (as the SES documentation says should be used for starttls connections) solved the problem for me. I guess the reason for this is that 465 is a TLS session and 587 is a STARTTLS session - I'm not sure where in the Swift Mailer Transport software this got changed and I'm not sure why they did it - but if you change your port to 587 it seems to work just fine.
As a matter of fact - when I changed the port (in Machform) all the emails that I sent a couple of days ago (on port 465) came in.
Hope this helps!
Regards,
Saghalie

We upgraded the mailer library within version 4 and upgraded the encryption method as well (previously it was using SSL, now it using TLS -- successor of SSL, more secure).
TLS requires port 587. Unfortunately we've just realized that this will break existing settings for those using port 465. Sorry for this!
The easiest solution is to simply change the port number of your SMTP setting to use port 587.However, if you prefer to keep using port 465, we have a fix for this.
We've updated the package within our member area with the fix. Simply download it there. Or contact us directly and we'll send you the fix.MachForm Founder

Hi,
I have just upgraded to v4.0 and I must say I am dissapointed. Unless the more pleasant interface design and report builder, there is no improvement for me. And much more, report builder is a big frustration, even if it could be awesome. But it isn t.
Here they are some needed improvement:
1 - more fields type: text matrix, sorting, spinning (simple and interval), rating, rating with text (depending on rating values)
2 - the possibility to assign numbers/scores for each field value
3 - skip page just as simple as skipping questionsAnd now, about report building:
1 - widget order might be reversed (the new widgets would go to bottom, not to the top as it is now)
2 - once done, the widget cannot be changed (I might try pie and after I see how it is, I might change mi mind to change chart type. It cannot be done now and it is frustrating)
3 - There is no horizontal scroll, just vertical, so I can see just a couple of fields, not the entire range of fields I ve checked
4 - It needs some way to insert some fields, text fields for some results explanation or description, as the section fields. The report might follow the page and section structure of form, it is more logical
5 - Report might be protected with password just like a form is.
6 - Report might be localized just like the form is.
7 - It is fantastic that it can cross tab entries by other fields (when you are in Entries grid) but you cannot save it, every time you need to drag the filter field. It is painful.
8 - Chart types could be more variate. SURVS has a very neat report display, very intuitive and smooth. I can provide you a pdf file. For example, for multiple choice (it might be used as a rating / Likert scale if it could be assigned with scores) you could display one bar chart. I saw some chart display in presentation, bu I couldn t find myself. It could be much space savier.
9 - The possibility to make some basic statistics would be fantastic (average, min, max and even some basic normalization - I could provide you free consulting on all of this)It would be a shame if these would not be implemented, because report builder opened so much possibilities. But if you would implement, this tool would be FANTASTIC ONE.
Thank you so much for customer needs listening.
Best regards,
Florin Nicola

Florin -- Thank you so much for the very detailed feedback. I appreciate it. I won't be able to respond to each of them but I got your points.

Hi,
I saw some examples of cute, simple and intuitive charts and I think that it will be great if you can include them in MachForm report.
http://gndev.info/shortcodes-ultimate/extra/icons-progress-bars-pies/I hope this could improve MachForm reporting module, which is very helpful I must say.
Keep up the good work.
Best regards,
Florin

Thank you all for your replies to my posts.
I have fixed the SMTP problem already by change the port to 587.
Only the other thing remained is how to add php functions to pre-proceed fields before we use the web hook.
According to the help from software owner, I need to modify some files but it is not the way I prefer.
Hope somebody has solution for the problem.
Thank you.Posted 10 years ago # -
Ok, just bought it because I keep having some very annoying issues with the older ones. For some reason the logic builder completely fails when having multiple pages. Extremely annoying... But anyway, I was trying to upgrade and things went bad, nothing worked, all forms where dead... Where can I get the support for installation from you guys?
Posted 10 years ago # -
Im also still having the issues with multiple forms. Also, when adding a third page. You can't delete it. However, deleting page two does the trick..

@M2theC: The best way to get timely support is by using the contact form (link below). While the Appnitro staff does monitor the forums, they don't do do continuously. While they are sure to respond to your request for help through the contact form, be aware that there may be a substantial time difference between your location and Indonesia, where Appnitro is based, so their response may not be immediate.

Hi, ok thanks for that. To be honest, the new version is nice but tmo its lacking some features:
- Custom message max 1 submit per IP "Sorry, but this form is limited to one submission per user." won't do the trick for most customers
- Set sizes for bars input (customers complain about boxes nog being aligned and having the same size)
- Some more custom login backgrounds or colors when giving customers account access
- A way to name forms without having to give them a title
- A way to organize forms in folders per client
- A feature to show or hide paused forms
- A somewhat better logic builder. If this then that kind of thing. This one seems to have the same issues as the older version
- A way to skip pages with the logic builder without seeing the 1,2,3 numbers on the actual frontend form (also, when adding a third page, you can't delete it. Only the second one. Seems like a bug?)
- A way to change the 1,2,3 numbers with multiple pages. (also when you leave out the intro text, the icons get cut off)Don't get me wrong, I love Machform! Just expected something more i think..
