   Just purchased machform, installed in our site but machform says the version of MySQL isn't sufficient. According to our hosting company we have MySQL 5. and machform says we need a minimum of 4.0.1

   How do I correct this?

   you probably haven't configured the MySQL properly. Go to config-empty.php and put in your settings (check this). Then rename the file to config.php

   Most likely, there is some username, password or hostname error. Sometime, depends on your hosting control panel, there is some prefix being added into your database name.

   So make sure to double check them.
