Making background around textbox (on hover) transparent

What would be the required CSS to have: When you click on an input field, a large colored box appears around that field... how can we make that transparent? The selection of the transparent icon within backgrounds of the visual CSS editor is not working.
Thanks!

You'll have to edit the css file for the form and look for - form li span - change the color there. See if that works for you.
Hope this helps

What would be the proper method to make it transparent... not change the color?

That's what I would do I suppose. I'm not really sure. I might just take the color : #444 out and see what happens.

I'm not sure what I was thinking when I replied the first time. You can change those backgrounds in the Theme editor. Assign the form a theme and then edit the them selecting the background and you'll be able to change the color to whatever you want in the editor.

According to my OP, it is not functioning properly for transparency in the visual editor.

Then you will have to send in a customer service request (customer.service at appnitro.com - replace the at with @).
