Making a checkbox use a custom value (not the default 'choices' text)

Hi there,
One of my machforms has a single checkbox option at the end of the form so users can opt into a newsletter (it is element 11 of the form). The associated text (in the choices field) is quite a lengthy paragraph about that newsletter.
Currently when that the data is saved and someone has opted in, that whole paragraph is written to the database, I just want the saved value to be simply 'Yes'.
I had this working before but have just upgraded to the latest machform version and must have written over the customised scripting. Can someone let me know how to do this please?
Many thanks,

Hi Phil,
Maybe you can consider to use a "checkbox" as the options and "section break" for your newsletter paragraph.
I think it's the best way to implement your requirement and section break value will not saved to database.MachForm Support

OK thanks redityo, good idea.
I have actually made the disclaimer paragraph the guideline, and changed the css styling so guidelines appear under the form element instead of as a popup box.
Cheers,
