Is it possible to combine the dollars and cents fields into one field?

    My users are constantly entering the dollars and cents incorrectly since they are not used to the dollars and cents fields being two separate fields.

    Can these fields be combined into one?

    The alternative would be to use a normal text field type.

    Are the errors actually being submitted, because the validation on the field should 'trap' those errors and ask the user to correct them.

    If I switch it to a text field, will the dollar amount be passed on to Stripe correctly?

    I don't use the payment features, so I couldn't say. Doe stripe offer a 'sandbox' (test) environment so you can try it?

    In any case, to answer your original question, I don't think you can combine the $ and c fields that make up the "amount" field.
