HTML Tags and Going Insane

Everyone,
I had been having some strange things go on with my form while editing. No errors when saving simply that fields were not saving with the changes I had been making. Simple changes like the label on a field. I searched and searched the forums. I stumbled across a thread that was dealing with another error as it's focus however the author / appnitro - Are you using HTML in your section breaks? Miss a tag close and the ripple effect is NO FUN! You need to make a correction by finding the bad tag. The challenge is that it does not let you save a corrected tag IF IF IF you have another somewhere. I assume above that one in order of section breaks. So work from the bottom up and when you find it if you can correct it and your done. You can now make the other change you were going to make and the form will save the details on the existing field that you needed to change. If you find an HTML error in a tag syntax and it will not save it then you missed one go back to the last break to check again.
It would sure be nice if the form editor produced an error of some kind but not so lucky...

To avoid this problem in the future, add your html tags one at a time. Save the form and view it after adding each one, to make sure it did what you wanted. This is tedious to be sure, but less so than what you ended up having to go through. As far as Machform ever adding html validation, I doubt it will ever happen.
