How to automatically add unique number to form.

    I'm creating a report form for our field technicians. I want each report to have a unique report number. So when a tech creates an entry a number field has a unique number already populated. What is the best way to accomplish this?

    Actually, you can use entry id as the unique id, but if you want to create your own id. You can use the method that posted in here :

    Thanks redityo. The entry id works. I have yet to try out the method you suggested. Let you know how that goes.
