Export only selected fields and notification e-mail

    Hello.

Excellent software! I have a couple of questions.

    1. On the backend, when viewing entries for a form, I'm able to select and display the fields that I choose. But if I click on EXPORT, the file that gets created contains all the fields. I need it to only display the fields that I've previously selected. How can I fix this?
    2. Is it possible to generate and e-mail that warms me if someone deletes an entry from the backend?

    Thank you very much!

    Regards.

@arturom: I am just another user, but I can tell you that neither of the tasks you mentioned can be done with Machform "out of the box." You might be able to implement both features yourself with enough customization to the code, but I couldn't tell you how to start. (There are other members of this formum that might be able to give you a hint or two and the folks from Appnitro can be helpful in these matters, but with the scope of the changes you are asking for, I'm afraid you will be pretty much on your own.)

However, both of the features you describe have been requested in this forum, your #1 more than once and I personally requested something very similar to your #2.

We can both hope the development team will implement these features in a update released in the near future. I'm guessing customized export is more likely to show up than warning emails.

Thanks for the tips William, I appreciate your feedback. I'll check out those posts and see if I can come up with anything. Hopefully the folks from Appnitro will reply to this.

    Kindest regards!

If you want to be sure to get a reply from someone at Appnitro, your best bet is to contact them directly by using the contact form:

    http://www.appnitro.com/contact

They do monitor this forum and often chime in, but sometimes they miss individual messages here.
