Entries status

Hello, is there a way in which form entries can be assigned a status i.e. by default NEW and can be moved to PROCESSED status after the entry or entries has been checked as processed manually and the entries can be filtered by the status - NEW or PROCESSED.
Thanks

You can simply add a field (a dropdown or multiple choice or text) and then set the field as "admin only". Once you have processed the entry manually, you can edit the entry and change the status field.

Hello Yuniar,
thanks for the reply but that is not what i want, when i open a form in the admin panel to view the entries, i want an option side by Delete and Export that says Change Status to NEW/PROCESSED. When i check an individual record or all record it should change the status of the record(s) and by default all the entries should be labelled NEW. The status column should come after the ID column.
This feature is needed badly for us as we are unable to figure out which are new entries and which are processed, we export all entries and process them in our ERP, so if we can get this feature we can save time instead of exporting all records we should be able to export only new entries and process them. i am ready to pay for this customized enhancement to my forms. Thanks

If you are referring to a new interface to change a status of an entry, I'm afraid it won't be quite easy to do this without doing custom modification. Sorry.
I believe you still be able to do it with the method I described above though. A very simple method is by adding a checkbox with the label "Processed" and set the field as "admin only"
This way, each time there is a new entry, the default value of this checkbox is unchecked (new). Later when you already processed the entry, you can check the checkbox and save it, changing the status to processed.
You can also filter the entries to only display processed entries. So that only new entries will be displayed. Any processed entries won't be displayed anymore.

I understand what you want to say, for e.g. if i have 1000 entries an bydefault the check box is unchecked then the entries will not show anything it means they are new but the problem is as i said we download the entries and process them in our ERP so wouldn't it be difficult to go to each record edit it and check the check box to mark it as processed?

I'm afraid I don't have any other suggestion than my above post. Sorry.
You might want to hire a PHP programmer to customize MachForm further and add the option to change the status of the entries.MachForm Founder
