Email Uploads To Myself

I have used Machform to create - so far - about ten forms for my website.
I want one of those forms to collect uploaded files and store them on a remote secure server as backup. I'm not sure where the server they'll be uploaded to will be. I have looked at sites like humyo.com and iDrive though.
The only other idea I have to achieve this is to alter Machform so that uploads are emailed to my computer (rather than just a link) and that my PC automatically puts the attached files in a folder (I have an app that can do this). That is then synced to a remote server like humyo. But this is not ideal because if the PC goes down the automation is 'broken'.
So I guess my questions are this;
1) Can Machform be altered to send uploaded files to a remote server or email address? If so, how?
2) Can anyone suggest a backup facility that this might work well with?Thanks

Sorry, at this moment MachForm doesn't actually attach the files into the email, instead a download link is provided.
We're considering to provide an option to attach the file for future version.
For now, I think what you need is a remote backup script. MachForm uploads all files under your "machform/data" folder. I suppose you will need to use a script which zip this folder (or any specific folder) and then upload it into remote server.
There are many scripts out there, below might be a good start to search:

Is there a script you can recommend?
I am new to this stuff and wouldn't really know what to look for.
Thanks,

Honestly, I never use any of them. So I can't recommend any. Sorry.
Usually I just use SSH to do backups between servers.Perhaps try to contact your host? Some hosting company already have backup solution.
They might have some suggestion.MachForm Founder
