Edited Form and it changed prior Entries

I am a portrait photographer using Machform for my session contracts. I have a form created where I need to update it regularly because the pricing quote I give to clients can vary (ie: I gave different discount rates). I edited my form last night to reflect a different pricing to a client. After I changed it, I noticed that it ended up changing prior Entries (contracts of clients who had previously submitted their contracts).

Why is that happening if a form has already been submitted? And how do I prevent this from happening in the future?

    Thank you!

@jocelynaz: Because Machform allows you to update your forms in "real time," changing the form for any entry changes it for all previous entries in the same form as well; that is the way it is supposed to work. The data itself won't change, but any of the text on the form itself will change for all of the old entries as well as the new ones.

From now on, you should duplicate your form before creating a new version of your contract. This will create a copy of your form as a new form with no data and with a new link. Once you have made the appropriate changes to the form, send the new link off to your new client or update the link on your web site, or however you distribute it.
