css file - line numbers?

    Hello Support,

I seem to be asking a lot of questions ... not sure what that reflects, but I am new to MF. It's a really great program and I need to get on top of it quickly.

We have a lot of changes necessary to the defaults so the finished forms match our website theme. At present I'm using a html text editor to modify the css files.

It would be good if the css file itself could include line numbers, which would save the copy & paste routine. Can this be done by adding code?

I did check SEARCH for anything on this, couldn't get any result. Would like to know if it's possible.

    Thanks,
    Ron S

Use Notepad++ it's free. Do a search on google or yahoo; it'll pop up and you can download it.

Thanks, but that's not what I asked. I have no need of a new editor, the one I currently use (Crimson) is fine.

What I'd like to know is if the css file can be modified to include line numbers - that way I wouldn't even have to use an external editor.

Oh; I see. Sorry about that; thought you wanted an editor that needs to display line numbers. Yuniar can take it from there then since its a re-write. :)

Sorry, this one would require a lot of code changes. Some javascript need to be added.

I found this sample to be quite interesting:
