Copy form from one database/domain to another??

    Hi Yuniar,

I've just purchased a licence for another site (domain). I want to avoid having to reinvent the wheel (so to speak) as I have several forms on my original site I can use (with minor modifications) on the new site. How do I go about copying these original forms to the new site??

    Thanks.

    Hi Ron,

Simply copy the entire database and machform files from your first site to your new one.
To copy the database, you can use PhpMyAdmin. You'll find an option to Export your database into an SQL file.

Then import this SQL file into your new site using PhpMyAdmin too.

I'm afraid there is no easy way to copy only just a few of your forms. Sorry.

How would I do this if I have forms I want to copy from one client already set up (but an new database for another that will use the same forms). The forms are already installed on both servers and the databases set up.

johnsmommie -- do you mean you would like to copy the whole forms?
If so, you can use PhpMyAdmin to export and import the database content.

Basically, you only need to sync the database.

If you need further help on this, please contact us directly and we'll help you there.
