Conditional Fields - keep the request alive

I just wanted to bring this request over to the MachForm 3 forum.
MF3 has come a LONG way and it just got us back from another product that has several features (like multi page forms) that we were missing so far. Now we're 99% there. Conditional fields is the ONLY thing we are still missing.
Very much hoping for this feature!

Absolutely agree! I have hoped this will be included in the new release and I am sorry to see it is not.
Even something simple would do for a start, such as when some option is checked, it would embed another form or make certain fields / groups of fields visible.Posted 12 years ago # -
This has my vote too.
Another form systems has already this for quite some time now.
I'm even willing to pay extra for this has an add-on.Posted 12 years ago # -

I definitely would like to see conditional fields added to Machform. This might allow us to eliminate another, much more expensive product we are using. And, believe me, as a community college in New York state in the US, we need all the savings we can get.
However, I do not agree that this is all that is missing. Multi-user accounts are a critical feature for us and they are also missing. We have had to customize Machform 2 to add this functionality. We can't upgrade to Machform 3 right now because of this.
Custom field verification on a form-by-form basis (without modifying any baseline code) is another missing feature, although a less vital one. I could go on, but those examples are enough.

Yes this new upgrade of Machforms is awesome, now I'm back after any years absence! I actually assumed conditional fields was built in. Oh well I'm sure it will come soon, we can use jQuery in the meantime. Maybe at least this could be added to the documentation.

Yes, I would very much welcome conditional fields as well! Wufoo has an awesome rule system, maybe something like that could be implemented into MachForm?

Thanks for the feedback guys. At this moment we're focusing to add the multi users functionality as our next milestone. Once multi users is done, we'll start looking into conditional fields.
