Can't Edit CSS Files

I've having a problem when I click on the "Edit CSS" link within the Form Manager for all my forms. When I click on the link, it takes me to the Edit CSS page, but the File Content section is blank and I have two Warnings at the top of the page.
The warnings are (please note that I've removed part of the url from the path and replaced it with "path_to_machforms_folder") :
Warning: file_get_contents() [function.file-get-contents]: Unable to access ./data/form_7/css/view.css in /path_to_machforms_folder/forms/edit_css.php on line 51
Warning: file_get_contents(./data/form_7/css/view.css) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /path_to_machforms_folder/forms/edit_css.php on line 51
I'm not sure what's going on, but it looks like it's trying to edit a CSS file specific to my form within the data folder, but the only file under my data folder is an .htaccess file. I've double checked my permissions and the data folder is set to 777.
Any idea of what could be going on?
Thanks!

Is your PHP running under Safe Mode? If so, you'll need to turn it off.
Also, try to create a new form as a test and see if the CSS problem persist.
If the problem persist, please contact us directly: customer.service [at] appnitro.comWe'll need your FTP login info to investigate this.
