   Hi, I just want to remove the "state/province/region" field from the address.

   You can edit the "includes/view-functions.php" file. Search around line 3387 and you'll find the HTML tags for the address field.
   Simply remove the state/province/region part.

   Hi there all,

   I have followed this advice and removed the "state/province/region" field and it was OK. However, I am getting an error while filling the address field as it says that all fields are required.

   I have set it as "required" field, but I do fill all areas. Maybe there is some "predefined" type of information for the ZIP/POSTAL code? How can I change it to a "free" field?

   Seems like altough you remove the html lines for the "State/province/region part", while filling the form that area is still required to be filled even tough it is not there. Wouldn't it be easier to add the option to hide that area in the "field properties" as it happens with the option to "hide address line 2"?

   Would it be possible for someone to provide instructions on how to do this?
