Add custom elements

    Hi forum

Is it possible to add a custom field or element to a form. As of now there are 16 different field types to add - but I would like to be able to add a raw html element to make anchors, links to external pages or even buttons with custom functions.

I guess I could alter the mark-up of one of the elements I rarely use, e.g. the phone field, and just have it displaying the value of "$default_value_1" and then alter the input field in the admin area to a textarea. Would this work?

I'd prefer to add my own custom field/element, so do any of you know how to do this?

    Best regards,
    Michael

    Hi,

I am toying with the idea of this software for a project i am working on, however i can see there has been no reply to this post, so do i take from this that it isnt possible to add custom elements? Or is there some way?

Did you have any joy on your own Michael?

Look forward to some sort of reply.

    Kind Regards
    Matthew.

It is technically possible to add custom elements, since MachForm provided with the source code. However, I must say that it would require pretty much amount of code.

We won't be able to provide any support on this.
However, you are free to do it on your own. Some advance knowledge of Javascript and PHP will be needed to do this.
