   bmike -- we don't consider that as a bug. in most cases it's actually useful to have that behaviour and we added that functionality based on several requests quite some time ago.

   In some cases (such as when the form is being embedded into the bottom of a page) this is not desirable indeed.
   However, you can use the same modified machform_loader.js file as previously to disable that behaviour.
