   Hi

   I added a price field (v4.5) ... required, hidden, read only and with 599.99 filled in as the default

   I am also using a variable price structure... for shipping to represent 3 different shipping costs (multiple choice field)

   I want the base price to be 599.00 and already show as the total (pre filled in) when they arrive at the form...

   I thought doing the prefilled price field would work, but it does not show up as an option in the payment section... it says it supports price field
   but nothing I can do will make it appear on the drop down?

   what am I missing? ... it doesnt matter if it there is some other way to do it, I am selling one item at 599 and the only other choice is the shipping cost
   I want the total on the form to be at 599 without them doing anything... how would I go about that... thanks :)

   It seems you're doing it correct already. Hidden price field with populated value should be fine.

   I'll need to check into your form setting directly.
